December was a fabulous month for our students!

Our Middle School Youth students went shopping on the 9th, and purchased Christmas gifts for the two Christmas Basket families that they sponsored. On the 16th, we had a great time wrapping those gifts, and celebrating at our own Christmas Party. Thank you Jennie Fenrich, and Delvin Neugebauer, for spending your time with these great kids!

On the 12th, we enjoyed a Parents' Night Out. The kids had a great time eating pizza, making craft projects, and playing hard! Thank you, Mary Lou Hart, for volunteering.

Students had an opportunity to do some Christmas shopping at the Trinity Bucks Store on the 14th. Thank you for your fabulous donations to the store! Students went home with bags full of gifts to put under their trees.

The students put on a wonderful Christmas Pageant, "Broadcasting Christmas" on the 21st. The students worked hard to learn their lines, and the many songs. Great work, kids! Special thanks to Lee Hatle-Wyman, Nancy Lay, and Sarah Pewitt as well as Holly Batstone and Gary Hatle-Wyman for your help.

Education Opportunities Abound
There are several opportunities for students to learn, explore, and grow in their faith at Trinity.  We have a nursery for infants and toddlers available during worship on Sunday mornings, as well as Sunday School classes for preschool through 6th grade students. All students begin the morning in worshp with their families (unless younger children would prefer to be in the nursery for the entire service), and then move next door for class, following the Children's Message.

On the first Sunday of each month, students stay in worship for the entire service, and have the opportunity to receive communion with their families. Following worship, students serve refreshments during Coffee Hour in the Fireside Room.

On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings of each month, our Confirmation students meet from 4:30 - 6:00 for class with Pastor Diana Bottin, Pastor Mike Swain (from Central Lutheran), and Amy Stamatiou, Youth Ministry Coordinator.

After Confirmation class ends, our pre-teen group begins. Students in 5th - 7th grades enjoy pizza dinner, and then delve into discussion and activities about faith, family, friendships, and living our lives in Christ.

Parking Lot Dinner Prep for the Homeless

Every 4th Sundaysof the month we meet at 9:15 in the kitchen downstairs to prepare sack lunches for the Parking Lot Dinner at Central Lutheran, and also for our food bank here at Trinity.
Helping hands are always appreciated!
