ALL ARE WELCOME
On Sunday, January 30 we join with other welcoming congregations to celebrate
Reconciling in Christ Sunday. Our worship will include prayers and readings written by the Rev. Jan Wiersma, an ELCA pastor in Minnesota. Rev. Wiersma says, “I would like to acknowledge that I could not have completed this task without the help of my sister, Wendy Bronson, who holds an M. Div. from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary and who is a brilliant theologian, biblical scholar, andwriter, but whose sexual orientation was an obstacle to her pursuing a career in ministry.” These beautiful words are from the words of forgiveness we will hear: “Whoever you are, whatever you have done, wherever you have traveled, God welcomes you home. God longs to meet you, greet you, teach you, and make your life a work of beauty.” Amen and amen. Here at Trinity all are welcome! Come, and invite someone to join you!
