Children in Worship

All Are Welcome!

May 30, 2012

Children in Worship  - At Trinity Lutheran Church, we include children in our congregational worship services because we follow Jesus Christ, who welcomed and fully accepted little children.  We want to help children know that we, too, accept them as they are and that they can realize, through experience, the potential they have as children of God.

We believe that having small children and infants in worship is like having children at the dinner table. They're here because they are part of the family, not because their manners are perfect. The only way for them to learn how to worship is by doing. So we welcome children of all ages in the pews.

During the summer, children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate in the full worship service with their families.  Children are also welcome at the communion table.  Each Sunday, the ushers will have children’s bulletins available.  There are also activity packs available in the back of the church, with crayons, papers, and small toys.  Sunday School will resume in September.
