MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY
My Trinity family:
I really needed to write a note concerning our recent rummage event at Trinity. The comments that I have been told are the most heart warming I have ever heard at Trinity. They range from "My Mom always gives me stuff and I never get to give her anything" to "We can't afford to shop for our Grand Kids and this will be so very helpful".
In my limited time as the Stewardship Chairman at Trinity, I have never seen such a wonderful example of giving. To all of the givers and workers and beautiful folks of Trinity, I say well done. What was a thing that I did not need, became a treasure for someone who needed it.
My daughter Amy said that a man in a wheel chair could not get down to the event. When she asked what he needed, he said that he sure could use a blanket. Amy went down and brought up a nice coat and blanket to keep him warm. Need I say more? We are all so grateful for the beautiful love that lives at Trinity.
