Food & Craft Festival
Fast approaching!
October 2, 2012
As hard as it is to believe, Trinity’s Food and Craft
Festival is just around the corner. This years dates are Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm both days.
The lefse making day will be October 22, from 3pm to 7pm in the Fireside room. The time is set to allow those who are working to come in for some of the fun. All skill levels are welcome. If you have a grill or lefse rolling pin, please bring them. Some light snacks will be provided. Thanks to Pam and Duane Gleave for
organizing this traditional activity!
We are asking for your help in other ways as well. We need bakers of pies, baked goods, candy, and
coffee cake. We will also need a volunteer to make
caramel corn. Our traditional sandwich, potato salad and pie lunch will be served on Friday, and a taco soup lunch on
Saturday.
Of major importance to the success of the Festival is
advertising. Included in your
Tidings is a postcard that we’re asking you to pass on to a friend, or post in a public
location. We will have
additional postcards and flyers available in the Fireside Room and Church Office for you to take and distribute. You are welcome to take as many
postcards as you can mail to those in your address book. You may be surprised at who will come!
Set up will begin following worship on Oct. 28th , we
welcome all the help we can get. Watch for sign up sheets in the Fireside room for baked goods, and to volunteer to work either day. Please
address any questions to Dorthey Thompson or Lynda Elwood.
