Friends of Clark Park Meeting Update

On January 24th there were more than thirty neighbors of the park who met to hear from the Parks Department and give suggestions about the use of the park.  Paul Kaftanksi shared about what new capital improvements would take place in 2012, including benches, tables, and lighting. 

During the summer there will be games and activities for children two nights a week led by parks and recreation employees and volunteers. 

Other suggestions for the park included a community gardening project, involving the Everett High School Horticulture Club, positive activities for teens, a dog park, and ways to remove the fencing form the gazebo.
