INTERFAITH ADVOCACY DAY
Thursday, March 17, 2011 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, State Capitol, Olympia
To advocate is to plead the cause of those suffering injustice. It is part of our vocation as a church body and as individuals, to advocate for and with our neighbor in need. Advocacy Made Easy: Call your legislators on behalf of justice in Olympia with one phone call. You can leave a message with the Governor, your Senator and your two Representatives by calling 1-800-562-6000. During the legislative session you can call 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays. For more ways to advocate go to the Lutheran Public Policy Office website at www.lppowa.org or contact Lutheran Public Policy Office (206.464.4133)
