LOCAL BENEVOLENCE
Our monthly benevolence for June is The Interfaith Association of Snohomish County Family Shelter. Your generosity and kindness helps them provide shelter for families and strengthens our community. They appreciate volunteers, donations of food or household supplies, and financial contributions. To donate supplies or volunteer, contact the shelter office at 425-252-6672.
Our monthly Benevolence for July is The Back to School Outreach Fair with New Beginnings Church. Last year, with help from Central Lutheran, we provided a new pair of socks for every child, from kindergarten to high school who attended. That’s over 1,200 pairs of socks! Thank you! This year the event is Saturday, August 21. Our goal is to, again, provide one new pair of socks for every child who attends. You may either purchase socks yourself or give money towards buying them in bulk. Your help is also needed on the day of the event! We will have more information and sign ups for helping available in the August Tidings and Pew News.
