Lutheran World Relief

      On May 1, 2010 Doug Thompson along with his son Jacob delivered boxes containing 30 quilts, 25 school kits , 25 health kits, 15 sewing kits and 25 layettes weighing a total of 278. 4 lbs to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Seattle.  Thank you Doug and Jacob.  Thank you Don Beck and Art McGrew for loading the boxes in Doug’s truck.  Thank you to all who donated items for each kit.  Thank you to Janet Thompson, Marilyn Leatherman and Marylou Hart for sewing the school bags.  Thank you to the women of Lydia Circle for hemming diapers and receiving blankets.  Thank you to Susan Grazier and Julie Jansen along with the youth, Malcolm Grazier, Hannah Campbell, Amanda Jansen and Christian Jansen for your part in putting together the school kits.

      Thank you Diane Coughlin, Sue Long, Edna Carlson, Virginia Rudge, Martha Josephson, Dorthey Thompson, Muriel Montgomery and Bertha Enger for making the quilts, and also packing the quilts, sewing kits and health kits along with help from Shelley Thompson, Lynda Elwood and Molly Chachulski, one of Trinity’s neighbors.
