March Local Benevolence

In March we join with other congregations in the NW Washington Synod to partner with our companion Synod Mekane Yesus in Ethiopia. They are building a chicken hatchery which will sell day old chicks, creating jobs and protein for local families. Proceeds will be used for educational development and seminary scholarships.
Our Synod’s goal is $50,000 which will help complete the first phase of this project. To donate you may write “Chicken Hatchery” on your envelope or use one of the special envelopes in the pews. Thank you for your generous gift for this worthy project. Pastor Kluth, who has visited with Mekane Yesus in Ethiopia, will be here on March 6 to share more information about this very special project.
