Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

The good news is May holds 3 opportunities for recycling, the bad news (if you want to call it that) is they all fall on the same day - Saturday, May 5th. 

As was previously noted Trinity will have their “Give Away” sale from 9 am - 4 pm in Clark park.  A great opportunity to let your unwanted items be reused by someone who has need of them. 

Our Bayside Neighborhood association will be holding a metal recycling event from 10 am - 2 pm.  Here you’ll have the opportunity to recycle the bigger items you might have - old appliances, large metal objects and scrap metal.  The location is yet to be determined.  Check out their website - baysiderevealed.org as it gets closer to the day. 

Lastly, Thrivent will be holding a Shred & Recycle event at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church from 10 am - 2 pm. This is the time to bring all your old papers for shredding, and also recycling for computers & TV’s.  They will also have a free hour workshop called “More than Money Matters: Communicating About Money.  For more information check out their website thrivent.com.
