Safe and Secure

Safe & Secure

The summer has been extremely busy here at Trinity.  Pastor Jocelyn has recently come on board, and we had a farewell for Pastor Chris and his family, as well as a sad farewell to the Bittinger family. We wish them all the best of luck and God speed.

Fall is quickly approaching, as well as the beginning of another school year, and cooler weather.   It was found that the gas lines needed some repairs, as well as the furnace.  This along with some vandalism issues around Trinity in recent weeks is cause for a note about fire hazards and general safety around Trinity.   We’d like to remind you to be vigilant while at Trinity.   All exits have posted fire escape plans; please familiarize yourself with those and your nearest exit.   The florist often leaves boxes in the sacristy for your use in transporting flowers home or to another person.  If the boxes are not needed, please discard them as the newspaper and boxes are flammable.    The boxes are sometimes placed near the heater/radiator in the fireside room which is cause for concern as well.  We ask you to help keep Trinity a place of safety and security.  Please report any concerns to myself, Clara or Pastor Jocelyn so we can address any potential safety problems.

Thank you,

Peggy Ostergaard
