From our Stewardship Chair:

      To the good people of Trinity: I guess this means the bad people don't need to read this. At our last council meeting I was asked to write a short note about Stewardship. The council had a bunch of thoughts about what that is and how it applies to all of us folks at Trinity. The only thing I know how to do is to put my thoughts in and see what you think.

      From the time we decide to become members of God’s family, we start to work in His Light. We make a commitment to the church with our funds, our talent, and our time. I watched a little bit of an Oprah show the other day. She had what she called her “Angels” on. These are people who do work with other people to help the less fortunate folks in their area. One of the Angels said that it was a matter of working "with" and not "for" the needy. I like that. It seems to say what the real nature of Stewardship is. Thanks for the time.
