Thrivent Recognizes Quilters

At this year’s Volunteer Appreciation Dinner hosted by our local Thrivent chapter on October 26, all church quilters were recognized for their faithful service. From Trinity we recognize Edna Carlson, Clara Griffin, Sue Long, Chris Ostergaard, Dorthey Thompson, Gary and Ann Pederson, Martha Josephson and Janet Thompson. We also remember and give thanks for our now retired but long time quilters, Bertha Enger and Virginia Rudge! This group meets on the 4th Thursday of the month in the Sojourner’s Room and are always happy to teach the skill of tying knots! The quilters are thankful for the many gifts of fabric and yarn which keep them busy and also to Thrivent which has long provided the batting which makes the quilts warm!
