TRINITY AID BANK UPDATE

Thank you so much for your continuing gifts of food and money to the Trinity Aid Bank.  In the last twelve months your gifts have made it possible for us to provide 24 nights of shelter for families, most of whom have children. We have helped 14 households with rent, and two with utilities.  Because we are an emergency aid bank, we only provide these services once a year.  We also give out bus passes when needed.  We have referred many, many people to other resources, especially to the Everett Gospel Mission Men’s and Women’s Shelters.

We occasionally use money from TAB for bulk food purchases for the Food Bank to supplement the food donated by Trinity members and members of Central Lutheran, First Covenant and Trinity Episcopal Church. Food is only provided once a month per family household.

As food prices continue to rise, providing food to hungry people is our first priority.  We look forward to fresh produce from the Giving Garden supplementing our canned and boxed food!  Many thanks to you all!
